Annie Schlecht, founder of Zen Sleep Consulting, is an occupational therapist, certified pediatric and adult sleep consultant, Reiki practitioner, and infant massage instructor. Her mission is to help her clients (birth to adults) feel Zen and confident as they master the skill of sleep. She has helped hundreds of clients from all over the world due to the virtual nature of her consultations.
Annie’s career began as a pediatric therapist, specializing, in the birth to five population. As a developmental specialist, she is very passionate about the healthy development of young children and sees sleep as a crucial component of wellness. Annie utilizes her background skills to create holistic and customized sleep programs for her clients.
Annie is a North Dakota native and shares her life with her dreamy husband and two spunky little girls. She is serious about the work she does; yet, likes to do it with a splash of humor. When not chasing Zzzs, Annie loves spending time outdoors with her family, dogs included. She is always the first one on the dance floor, enjoys running, playing soccer and volleyball, sipping on red wine, and chilling out in a bubble bath.
Colleen Ehrnstrom, PhD, ABPP, is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). She is board certified in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and works in counseling and psychiatric services (CAPS) at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is the co-author of the book: End the Insomnia Struggle: A Step-by-Step Guide to Help You Get to Sleep and Stay Asleep.
Dr. Roger McIntyre is the CEO of AltMed Capital, President and CEO of CRTCE, a Professor of Psychiatry and Pharmacology at the University of Toronto and the Head of the Mood Disorders Psychopharmacology Unit at the University Health Network, Toronto, Canada.
In addition, Dr. McIntyre serves as Executive Director of the Brain and Cognition Discovery Foundation in Toronto, Canada; the Director as well as Co-Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) from Chicago, Illinois; Professor and Nanshan Scholar at Guangzhou Medical University; and Adjunct Professor College of Medicine at Korea University.
Dr. McIntyre is a Clinical Professor at State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, New York, and Clinical Professor Department of Psychiatry and Neurosciences University of California School of Medicine, Riverside, California.
Dr. McIntyre was named by Clarivate Analytics in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 as one of “The World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds.” Dr. McIntyre is the most recognized psychiatrist in the world in mood disorders. He has extensive collaboration with private sector partners including but not limited to the pharmaceutical industry, the insurance industry and health care industry in Canada, the United States and globally.
Sahil Chopra is a quadruple board certified specialist in Sleep, Pulmonology, Critical Care, and Internal Medicine. He completed his fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Harvard University after specializing in Pulmonology and Critical Care at Loma Linda University.
Dr. Harris is in private practice in White Plains, NY where she specializes in the use of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression. She is board certified in Behavioral Sleep Medicine (BSM) by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and treats a wide variety of sleep disorders (insomnia, nightmares, circadian rhythm disorders, narcolepsy, apnea treatment noncompliance) using evidence-based non-pharmacological treatments. Before going into private practice, Dr. Harris was the longstanding director of the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program at the Sleep-Wake Disorders Center at Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Harris currently holds a dual academic senior-level appointment as Clinical Associate Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in both the Neurology and Psychiatry Departments. Dr. Harris has published and presented research on the neuropsychological effects of insomnia in older adults as well as behavioral treatments for insomnia, parasomnias, narcolepsy, and excessive daytime sleepiness.
She obtained her undergraduate degree with honors from Brown University and graduated with her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. Dr. Harris completed her predoctoral internship at Montefiore Medical Center where she trained in the Sleep-Wake Disorders Center and received advanced postdoctoral training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy for anxiety and depression.
Joseph Krainin, M.D., FAASM is a board-certified neurologist and sleep medicine physician. He is the founder of Singular Sleep, the first-ever online sleep clinic. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, a distinction reserved for those who have made major contributions to the field.
Dr. Nicole Moshfegh is a clinical and health service psychologist, published author, and adjunct professor. She specializes in providing comprehensive psychodiagnostic assessments and psychotherapy for sleep, mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders.
She completed her clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowships at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, received her doctoral and master’s degrees from Pepperdine University in clinical psychology, and her bachelor’s degree from UC Irvine in psychology and social behavior. Dr. Moshfegh has published and presented at conferences in the areas of insomnia, well-being, resilience, multicultural competence, and mindfulness-based interventions. Most recently, Dr. Moshfegh authored her first book detailing evidence-based treatments for insomnia disorder. She maintains a private practice in Los Angeles, California.
Jennifer Iyo is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who works in an orthopedic outpatient clinic in downtown Seattle. She received her DPT from A.T. Still University in Phoenix, Arizona. She specializes in hands-on manual therapy and tailored exercise programs for patients of all ages and ailments.
Leann Poston is a licensed physician who holds an MD, MBA, and an M.Ed. Her career path has included practicing pediatric medicine, teaching, and working as a freelance medical writer and instructional designer.
